About this event

What aspects should you consider when thinking about reopening your building? Hear from others who are reopening or who have had limited opening (eg as food banks) throughout Covid-19.

This Zoom will discuss:

- whether hirers want to come back, do the finances add up?

- flow around the building, visitor details, what you'll need to reopen

- sanitary measures such as cleaning between hirers

- communicating your risk assessment

- people issues relating to your staff

- what if you have to close again?

This is a joint event across both areas ('Adur and Worthing' plus 'Brighton and Hove') and is run by Community Works in collaboration with the Trust for Developing Communities.

Who should attend

This Zoom is NOT for people who use rooms to run their own activities in them.

This Zoom is open to anyone who might need to risk-assess the building/people when considering whether a community space should re-open. This includes trustees and other volunteers, centre managers and other voluntary sector staff who might be involved in such risk assessments.

Timing

The session is from 10-11 am, with an optional extension until 11.30 am.

Number limit

No more than two attendees per centre, please.

Recording

We will record the session to assist our staff note-taking.
